University Student Ministry

I know some of my readers are university students.  Others do Christian ministry among university students.  Still other readers are wired-up with a strong interest in the connection between intellectual pursuits and Christian faith.  If any of these describe you, I recommend that you read Finding God at Harvard, edited by Kelly Monroe.

This book contains a wonderful collection of essays of the spiritual journeys of many thinking Christians whose faith intersected with their Harvard University experience.  These people lived in an extremely secular environment, often hostile to Christian faith, but still found God quite active even there.  The authors range from students to professors, young to old, and from a wide diversity of cultural backgrounds.  Finding God at Harvard offers many glimpses of  life as a citizen of God's Kingdom while living at a postal address in an exceedingly intellectual kingdom of this world.
