Mikeys Funnies

Recently I subscribed to a daily email that lightens my day: MIKEYS FUNNIES. It is a clean humor email list, sent every weekday and generously hosted by the Agathon Group, a website and hosting vendor with a ministry heart. Each issue includes "today's FUNNY" and "today's THOT." They're free for you to enjoy or repost  in church newsletters or publications.

Here's a FUNNY that I thought about saving for my next Personal Finance post (but I won't):

Dan was a single guy living at home with his father and working in the family business. When he found out he was going to inherit a fortune when his sickly father died, he decided he needed to get married so he could share his fortune.

One evening, at an investment meeting, he spotted the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. Her natural beauty took his breath away. "I may look like just an ordinary guy," he said to her, "but in just a few years, my father will die and I will inherit $200 million."

Impressed, the woman asked for his business card and three days later, she became his stepmother.

Women are so much better at financial planning than men.

Here's another FUNNY that reminds us that everyone is valuable:

My husband works in the fuels squadron at an Air Force base, and many of his co-workers complain about the superior attitude of the pilots.

One day the fuel guys decided to put things in perspective for the proud pilots. They all came to work wearing shirts inscribed, "Without fuel, pilots are pedestrians."

And here's an example of Mikey's "daily THOT for the day"

I WANT to have lots of patience; I just don't want to NEED it!

You can subscribe to Mikeys FUNNIES at http://www.mikeysfunnies.com. If you are shopping for website development or hosting, you can contact their sponsor: Agathon Group. (Nope, I'm not an affiliate,  just passing along the resource.)

Enjoy,

Tim
