Math Coaching

In our 1.5 years of semi-retired ministry, the Lord is providing Robin and me a wide range of very interesting ministry projects.  The most interesting of all is one that I've keep somewhat "under the radar screen."  It is Math Coaching.  If you're looking for an interesting Christian outreach ministry, please consider this one.

The primary mission is to help under-resourced students (elementary through high school) improve in math.  As students improve in math they improve in science.   The development of such analytical problem-solving skills leads to a whole new world of career options, both inside and outside the realm of math/science.  One side benefit for our students is that they establish relationships with coaches (older students and adults) who serve as healthy student and career role models.  Another side benefit is that unchurched students, usually without any Christian heritage, experience for the first time a clean Christian witness from their coaches.

We know the Lord has a habit of working in such settings, and we pray for opportunities to participate in this.  To know more about this, click on Math Coaching Ministry.
