First post on Personal Finance

A few weeks ago I mentioned that soon I would start a Personal Finance section in www.IsbellOnline. Well, soon is... now. The first 4 pages are now available! Please take a few minutes to have a look.

The place to start is the "Personal Finance top-level page." It's definitely worth a read, all the way to the bottom. There you will find a list of the 6 Personal Finance sub-sections that will fill up over the next few months:

  • Investments
  • Income and Expenses
  • New Worth and Lifetime Planning
  • Tracking Finances
  • Other
  • Resources/Links
  • Glossary
When you read the first page you'll also discover links to 3 additional pages that are also now public. One is the link to the Investments introductory page, and a page below that which unpacks the key concept that makes asset allocation so powerful. You'll also find a link to the Resources/Links page, which will probably grow a bit over time - but which is already pretty robust. I hope you'll make time to read all 4 of these pages, starting with the Personal Finance top-level page. And while you're there, please take the time to contribute your questions and comments on the form at the bottom of most of the pages.

If you like what you find, please pass the link along to others. When you do, remember to encourage them to subscribe to either the email or RSS feed at IsbellOnline News. That's the only way to be sure of getting the upcoming posts.

All the best,
Tim Isbell
